What is the Fat-Free Mass Index?
The Fat-Free Mass Index (FFMI) is a measurement used to determine the amount of muscle mass an individual carries in relation to their height. Unlike simple weight measurements, FFMI specifically excludes fat mass, focusing entirely on lean tissue (muscle, bone, organs, and water).
