1-Andro is a common name for the prohormone 5α-androst-1-en-3β-ol-17-one.  This compound is also referred to as: 1-androstene-3b-ol-17-one, 1-dehydroepiandrosterone, 1-DHEA, 1-androstenolone, and 1-androsterone.  

What is 1-Andro?

1-Andro is a non-methylated prohormone.  It is a precursor to the hormone 1-Testosterone, one of the most sought after muscle building compounds of all time.  1-androsterone is taken orally, it is absorbed through the stomach into the blood stream, then processed in the liver.  In the liver the inactive prohormone undergoes two transformations carried out by enzymes.  This process converts 1-andro to the active muscle building hormone 1-Testosterone.

1-Andro Dosage

1-androstene-3b-ol-17-one decanoate is found in two very popular prohormone supplements by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals:

• 1-AD
• 1-Testosterone

1-AD has 75mg of 1-androstene-3b-ol-17-one decanoate, its absorption is enhanced by Cyclosome Delivery.  It is recommended to take 2 tablets daily and not to exceed 4 tablets.

• This would suggest a dosage of 150-300mg per day.
• However, many average users report 300-600mg per day.  Experienced users have reported up to 1000mg per day. 
• 1-Andro cycles are typically run for 4-8 weeks, often stacked with other compounds, and followed by a PCT.

Stacking 1-Andro 

1-Andro is a great stacking compound and compliments many other compounds very well.  It serves as a great anabolic without aromatization to stack with a more androgenic and/or aromatizing compound.

1-Andro / 4-Andro Stack
